An unusual double Snowdrop Galanthus plicatus 'Hippolyta' was bred in the 1940’s by H.A. Greatorex from Norwich. Galanthus plicatus 'Hippolyta' resembles Galanthus plicatus ‘Dionysus’, but flowers a little later and has a purer white bloom.
