The flower of Galanthus nivalis ‘S. Arnott’ is larger than other Snowdrops and smells of honey. 'S.Arnott' is an easy snowdrop to grow, and a must-have for the beginner’s collection.

Galanthus nivalis ‘S. Arnott’ is a favourite of the well-known Dutch garden writer Romke van de Kaa. As he tells Hanneke van Dijk, writer of the book ‘Galanthomania’; ‘beautifully rounded petals, tall, and they make for a lovely posy of flowers’.

Every few years the clumps of Galanthus nivalis ‘S. Arnott’ can be lifted and divided, creating a carpet of Snowdrops in no time at all.
