After payment has been completed, your order will be delivered in the most cases within 1 to 2 working days. Please note: we only deliver our bulbs during the two bulb seasons: from August the 25th to the end of December, and from the beginning of February until the end of April. However, we deliver books year-round.

We use PostNL to send all our orders: orders small enough are packaged to fit through the letterbox, and larger orders are sent as a regular PostNL parcel. An e-mail is sent on the day of dispatch detailing whether the parcel will be delivered through the letterbox and also the track & trace number. All parcels receive a number – even the ‘letterbox parcels’.

We do our very best to stock all of our bulbs for the duration of the season, and we endeavour to keep this webshop right up to date so the correct amount of stock is always stated. However, it is inevitable that now and again a particular bulb will be temporarily out of stock. In that case an order will be delayed. To inform of the dispatch of a delayed order you can always contact us, preferably by e-mail. If the bulb sort ordered is permanently out of stock then we’ll get in touch with you to see if there are any suitable alternatives we can offer.

If, after receiving your order, you are not satisfied with our bulbs then you have 14 working days to return (part of) the order. For more information see ‘right of withdrawal’ at the bottom of this page.

Pick up
Do you want to collect your order? No problem! Choose for "pick up" in the order process. We’ll bring your package to the shop Bruna in Vorden (Raadhuisstraat 20, The Netherlands). Vorden is about 20 km from De Warande. You can pick up your order during the shop opening times.  Please note! It is only a pickup point: please pay for your order in advance, online or via the bank. Wait for our ‘green light’ before you come and collect your order. Then you can be sure your bulbs are ready to be collected. 

Return & warranty
If the ordered items are deemed damaged or flawed upon arrival, then the customer has 14 working days to inform De Warande of this, before deciding to return the items to De Warande. When a sale is made conform the Dutch Distance Selling Law (article 7:5 BW) the buyer has the right to return an order, or part of an order, within 14 working days and without giving any reason. The returned goods must be undamaged.

The cost of returning an order is borne by the buyer. The cost of loss, theft or damage to the order during transport is the responsibility of the buyer.

Doubts regarding the authenticity of a plant, observed when in bloom, can be filed within 1 year of receiving the plant. De Warande must be informed of the suspected inauthenticity in writing and a photo must be attached showing the flowering plant in question.

De Warande cannot be called upon for the regrowth of any plant.

If a customer's complaints are found substantiated by De Warande, then De Warande shall, at their discretion, either replace the item(s) in question free of charge, or arrange a written compensation agreement. A compensation agreement is made on the understanding that the liability of De Warande, and therefore the amount of compensation available, is limited to the value of the order in question.
