||September (flowerbulb planting time)
Looking for the traditional English Bluebell? Hyacinthoides non-scripta is available to buy from the Netherlands and resembles the English Bluebell the most. The flowers of the common Bluebell are smaller than those of the Spanish bluebell and usually hang from only one side of the stem.
Bluebells are suitable for natuaralising under trees or in grass. At De Warande, in our gardens, Hyacinthoides non-scripta grows amongst Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis).
The Bluebell is native to western Europe.
