The Roman Hyacinth is the original wild form of the Hyacinth; elegant and airy. It is the parent plant of the large-flowered Hyacinths. Every bulb produces multiple flowers which smell delicious. Treat the Roman hyacinth to a yearly handful of manure and plant her in a position that drains well in the winter. There she’ll feel most at home and will return every year.

Native to western Asia, Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon to a height if 2000 meters.
