Holewort or Hollow leek (Corydalis cava) is a beautiful, old stinzenplant. Holewort often gets mixed up with Fumewort (Corydalis solida). However the differences are pretty clear when you know what to look for: Holewort is rather larger and its bulb is, as the name suggests, hollow. The flowers of Corydalis cava are lilac to white. This plant self seeds readily. Holewort is ideal for a sunny stinzen-meadow.

The root stock of Holewort is prone to drying out: we therefore pack them in a perforated bag with soil. Please plant them as quickly as possible. However, if neccessary they can be stored for a short while in the fridge (frost free!).
